About

Casale di Monticello is more than a holiday home…

Over a decade ago, our family began to seek yearly refuge in the rural, authentic, slow charm of the Italian life in Umbria.

Fast forward, we discovered Casale di Monticello, the light flooded, one-of-a-kind farmhouse, standing proud atop the rolling hills to Todi.

Casale di Monticello combines its ancient past as a monastery, farmhouse and family residence with a new touch of modernity and the nordic influence coming from the next generation. The house now invites you to enjoy its newfound identity as a holiday home and the beauty of the rich history of the many surrounding medieval towns and cities, breaching with an air of the ever sought stillness of nature and art.

Being an evolving project in progress, the house is not defined by perfection, but rather as an alive fuel for the senses to slow down from the hectic life in the city to reconnect with nature.

Enjoy the tranquility and sounds of a fleck of earth protected by a natural reserve.
